Manny for Nevada is committed to digital accessibility. We design and build mannykess.com to conform to the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. This applies to all pages, content, forms, and interactive elements.
Accessibility features on this site
- Semantic HTML5 throughout
- Skip links at the top of each page
- Landmark roles (banner, navigation, main, contentinfo)
- Keyboard navigability for all interactive elements
- Visible focus indicators meeting WCAG 2.1 AA contrast
- Color contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text
- Alt text for all meaningful images
- Captions / transcripts for video where applicable
- Honors prefers-reduced-motion to disable non-essential animation
- Honors prefers-color-scheme to support dark mode
- Bilingual English / Spanish content for the most-used pages
- Forms with explicit labels, required-field indicators, and inline validation
- Accessible names and roles on icon-only buttons
- Touch targets of at least 44×44 px on mobile
- Responsive design that works from 320 px width to ultra-wide displays

Known issues we're working on
- The donation widget passes amount to Anedot via URL; the experience on Anedot is governed by their site's accessibility.
- Some embedded social-media icons rely on third-party fonts; we provide accessible names but encourage you to use the text links if you have issues.

We aim to respond within two business days and resolve confirmed accessibility issues as quickly as possible.
